Starting at 2010 Silverstone circuit no longer be the host of F1 championship. However, another prestigious championship will replace that event as hold on MotoGP in it circuit .
Silverstone has reached agreement with Dorna to host MotoGP championship for five years starting at 2010. This event replaces the series that this year's F1 championship the latest event hold on the track throughout 5141 km .The statement of Silverstone's managing director, Richard Phillips are listed below:
"We are delighted that the MotoGP World Championship is returning to Silverstone as of 2010," he said. "The venue has excellent facilities and a circuit with a great heritage, having hosted some superb grand prix racing in the 1970s and 1980s.
"We are sure that MotoGP's visits to the UK will continue to be highly successful when we make the historic move back to Silverstone next year."
Silverstone's managing director, Richard Phillips, added: "Silverstone is the UK's premier motor racing venue and we are thoroughly looking forward to hosting the world's premier motorcycle racing event from 2010. We have worked closely with Dorna Sports to bring MotoGP to Silverstone and both parties are extremely excited about the opportunity to take this world-class event to another level.
Some of the Silverstone will be modifications to the MotoGP series, but until now has not confirmed that any changes made to the layout of the track. Silverstone was the previous World Superbike start of 2002 to 2004, while in the interval 2005-2007 gantian a WSB event will be held here.
In the UK, the previous series MotoGP circuit Donington Park. But this year is the last time Donington Park so the host for next season start circuit will switch denggan the F1.
